Small Engine Assembly
Huff Technologies Inc. builds assembly lines for manual/automated assembly of everything from truck axels to small engines. The attached video is of a sixty-five station assembly line with three testing stations for small engine assembly. The line included work stations with pop-up stops, lift and transfer mechanisms, pallet orientation stations, precision stops, swing gates, repair loops, a PLC control system with DeviceNet control, a torque to turn station, a short block leak test system, a spark confirmation station, an automatic oil fill station, engine test stations, and an automatic oil drain station. The line incorporated all steps of engine assembly and testing.
Huff Technologies Inc. has also built heavy duty lines to assemble 2000 lb truck rear ends. The line has automatic stops, 30 ton hydraulic presses, flip over stations, etc.
